KengaLearn provides online and blended learning courses primarily focused on nature and wildlife tourism in southern Africa. We combine free public courses, membership-accessed courses, and private courses offered in collaboration with a training partner, often with accreditation. We can also host fully branded sites for our partners who wish to have their own learning support system. See nature differently with KengaLearn.
Welcome to KengaLearn. We are setting up here. It will take a few days before we are ready. The plan is to be fully live with the current version by Tuesday, Aug 18th. Note that we are using a minimalist skin (canvas or theme) because in this iteration we have focused on functionality and overall apperarance, rather than branding.
Chisimba is an advanced rapid application development platform and development framework with features similar to common proprietary systems. It is free software (open source) released under the GNU GPL, and available for download via Github, link available shortly. Chisimba was developed based on several years of experience in software design and architecture at the University of the Western Cape and partner institutions using its predecessor KEWL.NextGen, and is under active development by a team of developers.
